1 review for Making Math Stick: Classroom strategies that support the long-term understanding of math concepts

  1. Natalie Ahnert

I just finished Making Math Stick! This was one of the best books I have read in a while! It was an easy read and packed with strategies. Although geared towards Elementary and Middle School, I can easily see how the strategies within the book can be used at the high school level.

Retention is a huge issue in Mathematics. At the same time, it is a necessity for students to pursue advanced Mathematics courses. The strategies within the book were lumped into logical clusters. In addition, all the strategies are ones that could be used within a classroom with little to no additional effort.
